For twelve years she navigated the complex world of childhood diagnoses, specialist schools, inpatient clinics, medications, and a system that consistently gave her pieces of the picture without ever showing her the whole. She has sat in more waiting rooms than she can count, filed more forms than she can remember, and made more phone calls that went nowhere than any parent should ever have to make. She began writing Unconditional not from the safety of hindsight, but from inside the storm, in real time, while still fighting. It is her first book.
